Eyes of pale blue shut tight, Lyra ran at the wall between platforms 9 and 10. After saying a quick goodbye to her father, she dissapeared through the wall. Lyra opened her eyes once she was on the other side, gazing in awe at the gigantic red locomotive. It was like this every year since she had been 11, but the train was always a fantastic and quite welcoming site. She quickly loaded her trunks, and the cage with her eagle owl, Armen, inside onto the cargo part of the train before hopping onto the train and quickly finding an empty compartment.

Sora leaned against the wall between platforms 10 and 11. She was waiting for someone, someone who many thought they knew, but few knew very well.
"Is it you?" asked the voice of Draco Malfoy from behind her. "Yes. Yes, it is," she said, still staring at the wall. "What did you want?" "I will marry you..." "You wi--" "If you pretend to like Pansy Parkinson through this whole term." "What?! You'll let me kiss you this once before I do, then." "Sorry. I don't take requests."
Draco glared.
"Joking, m'love."
Sora kissed Draco's cheek and went through the wall between platforms 9 and 10. She got on Platform 9 and 3/4 loaded her trunks, and took off to the Prefect compartment in the front of the train.

Theory dragged his luggage across the crowded platform, His parents kept telling him to watch out for his younger brother, and then start fussing about said brother. Theory ignored most of it. Sure, sure, he loved his family and all that good stuff, but, he was eager to get on the train. Then, he could see friends, and all that. His parents told him to share a compartment with his kid brother. A grunt was the reply, he knew that he'd throw him in with some other first years.

When Sora escaped the prefect compartment, she saw a rather angsty-looking boy. She walked down the aisle until she came across a compartment that a blonde Gryffindor girl was sitting in alone. Something intrigued her about this girl, so she opened the compartment door and asked,
"Mind if I sit with you?"

Lyra looked up at the girl who she immediately noted as a Slytherin, but house made no difference to her as she didn't have many friends. She smiled and said, "Not at all, go ahead." Then she stared out the window, the people and scene beyond almost invisible through the sheet of smoke the engine was issuing as the train remained stationary. She turned back to the Slytherin girl.

"So, what do you think of Voldemort returning?" Sora asked, without thinking of the fact that most people twitched at the very mention of his name.
She was curious, however, so she waited for an answer.

Brothers were a pain. They really were. He shoved his brother in with some other pitiful looking first years, they had seemed to group in a few compartments towards the front of the train. But, by the time he had made it back down with many of the sixth years, almost all of the apartments were full. Hoping he'd a slightly empty compartment, he made his way down the train. All this going back to Hogwarts excitment had given him a headache.

Lyra raised an eyebrow slightly, noticing how boldly she mention Voldemort's name, but she did not flinch or show any sign of fear of his name. "I'd be foolish not to say that his return isn't unnerving. Many people are frightened, and the atmosphere here just on the train is alot more tense than it usually would be. But eh, I'm not that scared, but to see scared, you should look at those 1st years in compartment section A," she added jokingly.

Sora looked out the compartment door and saw that boy again. She looked back to the girl.
Sora tittered. "They're always fun to oggle at. I wonder how that Potter kid's going to be doing with Voldemort back and everything."

Theory looked into a compartment, where a girl looked back. He smiled. Two girls, one compartment, and one lad outside. Well, maybe this ride could be a little better than he thought, as he knocked on the compartment door.

Sora looked to the blonde girl.
"Should we let him in?"

Lyra shrugged and stood, "Sure, why not?" she said walking over and sliding the compartment door open.

Theory smiled, "Thanks, all the other compartments were quite full......and, this one looks rather pleasent." Still smiling, he stepped into the compartment, and noticed what a odd pair it was. A gryffindor girl and a slytherin girl. Well, Hogwarts always had surprises.

Sora wondered what this boy thought of Voldemort coming back, but she didn't say anything, somewhat in fear of what the other girl would think.
