Lyra noticed one of the taller midgets that looked exactly like theory, that one d00d on the train. But she looked around at all the little midgets, they were always fun to torment, especially since this year Lyra was a gryffindor prefect many priveliges were in store this year.

The hall quieted down as the Sorting Hat began it's song. It was heavily hinting, in some of the most unsubtle ways to unite, be strong and together as one, or something of the sort. And, so, the sorting began.
Professor McGee called out, "Abbans, John!" And, a small, sandy haired boy made his way towards the hat. ''Ravenclaw,'' the hat sung out, and the boy joined the Ravenclaws.
The sorting went smoothly, though, it seemed the hat lingered on quite a few students. Most of which seemed to eithier end up in the two most competative hosues, Gryffindor or Slytherin. Nathan, like his brother before him, had the hat stay on his head for a few minutes before calling out the Red and Gold house, Gryffindor.

Lyra applauded alogn with the rest of the Gryffindors as some of the first years joined there table, including Theory's brother, Nathan. After the sorting was done, Dumbledore stood up to say a few words to start the shcool year and to start the feast.

So, the feast went by, and the prefects herded the houses to their dorms. Passwords were muttered, robes slipped out of into PJs, excited talk about up coming classes, worried whispers about not remembering spells, the castle was abuzz with activity again, and soon, it was already settling down for the night's rest.
In the 6th year, Gryffindor boy's dorm, quidditch, summers, classes and girls were being discussed. Theory thought back to the train. Hey! That one girl.......Lyah? Lyra? Something of the sort.....she liked Harry! Theory laughed with the other boys as Harry turned pink once the gossip was out in the open. Soon, the discussion died down once Neville's snoring could be heard, drifting from the curtains of his bed. He went to bed earliest, tired out from the train ride. Trevor escaped, and Neville had a nasty run-in with some third year Slytherins.

OMG kenneh I luff your icon! Bunneh! *eats it*
Lyra was up in the 6th year girl dormitory, happily playing exploding snap with Hermione, Parvati, and katie, Lavender was still downstairs with a few other people. Of course, girls being girls, gossip was heard and spread in the small group, about possible hook ups for the year, assorted boys, guesses at crushes among the teachers. Alot of laughter was heard at one particular pairing suggested by Lyra that it would be quite angsty and play into the ooposites attract factor if Mc Gonagall and snape hooked up...... (lol I'm stupid)

bunny bunny bunny bunny, hop hop hop hop!
That pairing was giggled at by the girls, and they started going into the possiblity of it. "Oh, wouldn't that be exciting! Snape, and McGonagall......probably meet in the astronomy tower every Saturday, to share a bottle of wine, and a romantic moon light kiss!' Parvati giggled, while each girl added her own input. Katie giggled on about Dumbledore and McGee, while McGee was having a secret affair with Flitwick, who was seeing Prof. Sprout, who was haivng a affiar with Snape. Each idea kept on getting more and more ridiclous, but, my, it was fun!

Lyra giggled at the humorous ideas that popped out into the conversation as finally it got pretty late and the first day of school was certain to be quite hectic. Lavender finally came up to the dormiotry, and the 6th year girls settled door for the night in their four poster beds adorned with curtains of red and gold. All of the girls went to sleep, eager to begin the next day.

And, so, the castle was settled for the night.
Breakfast the next morning was also where schedules were going to be received. Let's hope the OWLs were acheived by our 6th years.

Lyra quickluy got up and got dressed and headed downto the great hall for breakfast and schedules. She had here letter in whihc she got her grades for her exams. As seen on the sheet she had done alright, a a fews outstandings, and the rest were excellents. Lyra was smart, but she wasn't the straight O's student like hermione was, nevertheless, Lyra decided to only dropped divination, as the class didn't exactly...put in laymen's terms 'float her boat.'

Theory yawned, rolled out of bed, and bascailly lumbered down to the Great Hall. Many students were already there. He had his papers ready for his schedule to be made. He planned on potions, DADA, charms, and transfiguration. Herbology was a disaster for him. No green thumb. History of Magic....well, he had the memory, just not the concentration. Oh well. Didn't faze him. As long as he had potions.

Sora didn't sleep, so she went down to get breakfast at about 6:30, followed closely by Draco, who was making a desperate attempt to call the bet off. But afterwards, he disappeared. Sora took his schedule, along with her own (Ironically, they were identical), and went to the Room of Requirement. She needed a map to show her where Draco was so she could give him his schedule.
Two. Three. Four. Five. Six. At the seventh floor, she jumped off the staircase and walked towards the Room of Requirement. She saw Draco leaving this room, and she wondered why he was there to start with.
She followed him for awhile without him noticing, then tapped him on the shoulder when they got to the 4th floor and gave him his schedule.

Heaping amounts of food was piled onto Theory's plate, as he quickly consumed his meal large enough for a small army. Growing boys needed food, and, even though he was growing much out, he was definitly still getting taller. He towered above Prof. McGee as she went over his schedule with him. He got all the classes that he wanted, and was glad. He seemed to have some free time to just goof off, and he was happy.

Lyra finally got her schedule and was quite please with it, she got all the classes she wanted, no divination, and breaks to just chill out, or so she thought. Instead they were to be study periods in which she would have to do mounds of friggin homework. Lyra finished up breakfast quickly, getting ready to head to her frist class which was....as she checked the schedule again, it was transfiguration fun!

They walked into the classroom which was not unfamiliar in any way tothe 6th years as they sat down in their usual seats. No one was at the front desk, but a grey tabby cat with spectacle markings sat ontop of the desk, watchign the students alertly.
