Before she knew it, Sora had Al by his throat.
"Mentioned what?" she asked threateningly. "Y-You.."
She dropped him without thinking. She looked down at her reflection in the water. She wondered why she was the center of such anger. Did Ed hate her that much? Highly offended by this, she sat down to talk to Al, who she had just realized was in a clump on the ground.
"Sorry about that. So, why do you think he does that? Is he mad at me?" "I..I don't think so." "What do you think?" "He told me not to say." "Is it that bad?" "I..no." "What is it?" "Okay. Don't tell him I told you. Brother likes you."
Slightly annoyed, Sora nodded and walked off. Why was Al lying to her? This was very unlike him. He had that calm, pleasant tone in his voice that sounded so earnest and kind, but he must have been lying. Perhaps it was a joke. Sora walked off, slightly steamed.

Jackie heard footsteps and opened her right eye lazily and sitting up a little bit and saw the one girl who had been talking to the short blonde kid. She opened both eyes, the girl looked quite ticked. Since it wasn't really her business to pry into the girl's affairs she shut up and laid back down her head resting on Sparx who was fast asleep in the grass and resuming her cat nap. (lol Jax is a lazy butt! ^^)

(I've noticed. ~)
Sora walked to the spot where the dog and the lady were. It smelled like cigarette smoke. She twitched slightly, then walked towards Ed, who was now sleeping. She wanted to ask him something, though she wasn't quite sure how she'd word it. She kneeled over him, then realized how stupid she was being.
He'll be alright, she thought. It was a very forced thought, really. She still wanted to ask him something. She wished he would wake up. She realized how tired she was, fell into him, and slept.

Jackie woke up much later, her headache long gone. She got up and looked around, man she was bored, if she wasn't kept inside the base that wouldn't be a problem as the city had many sights to go explore but no, she had to be ratted out by a coupel of jerks and get caught and stuck in the military. She sighed as sparx got up and sniffed about, she decided to test out her alchemy on a few trees to keep her boredom from gettign the better of her. She concetrated hard and zapped the living crap outta the two trees that stood before her, reducing them to black ashes.

Sora awoke to her hair being stroked by what felt like a metal hand. It twitched and withdrew immediately the moment she moved her head to sit up.
She looked at Ed, who was blushing, then back over to what was now a place with a few trees and many piles of black ashes. Ed didn't speak, which was unusual. He was quite the loudmouth. Sora asked,
"Why is that lady confined to the base?" "She was probably a criminal." "Oh," Sora said, looking over at him. He looked at the ground as soon as she caught his eye.

Jacqueline finally got tired of being cooped up and resorted to complete stubborness. She went to an opening in the wall surrounding the base, one of the many entraces/exits. She tried to step through the opening, but was painfully shocked and thrown back 3 feet from the wall. She glared and reapeated the process, only to find the same results. Again and again she triedt o get out and the skin around which the necklace that kept zapping her turned red and started to bleed a bit. Jacqueline was so stubbron, she just kept trying, and started trying to zap the sensors in the entrace way and the sensor on her necklace, but neitehr worked.

Sora saw that she was struggling and immediately ran over to help. She clapped her hands against the wall and told the lady,
"You can go now, but you may want to run."

Jackie turned to look at the girl and smirked, "Thanks, you don't know what this means to me," she said before running off into the city. At last! Freedom! Jacquleine's smirk widned as she continued to run, not even taking a glance back at the base. She was finally free, for good, or so she thought. Man the Colonel was goign to be pissed when he realized she had escaped, but who cares? She would be miles away when he found out.

Glad that she had helped that lady out, she transmuted the matter back to its original form and turned back to see that Ed had followed her.
"What's wrong with you, Ed? You've been acting quite strange lately."
He walked closer to her, until they were almost uncomfortably close, and he took her left hand with his metal hand and said,
"I have something to tell you."
What a loser. Choosing such a time to tell her something. Well, it's not as if he knew about what Al just told her. He would probably be very angry if he had. Al wasn't known to lie at all, and Sora couldn't be the one to break the trust between him. Breaking trust between brothers is almost as bad as breaking trust between lovers.

Jax kept running, knowing that the Colonel would realize she was missing and if caught she'd be in deep trouble but she didn't care, she was free from a horrible prison of walls. She headed into the train station to get a ticket for the first train outta the city but it didn't leave for another hour so she decided to lay low in thet rain station for awhile. Meanwhile, at base, one of the gaurds realized Jacqueline had escaped and quickly told Mustang, who was not only puzzled on how she got out, but quite angry also.

On his way out, Mustang ran into Ed and Sora. The awkwardness was immediately broken by his asking, very loudly and furiously,
"Did you let her out?!" "Everyone needs a bit of freedom, sir," said Sora innocently. "I'll court martial you!" he shouted. "I'm not in the military," said Sora, sticking out her tongue.
Mustang just glared and moved on. Sora was a bit worried for the lady's case, but was sure she was enjoying what she had of her freedom.

Jacqueline was still hanging at the train station, waiting for the train to arrive. Then in nervousness about beign found again by Mustnag she left, knwoing the train station was one of the first places they would look. Using a fire escaped she climbed to the top of some random building and used her alchemy to make the search harder for mustang by making it rain terribly hard, lightning flashing every now and then over the city. so under the cover of the dark clouds and torrential downpour, she was able to sneak through backalleys unnoticed.

"Why did you help her?" Ed asked. "She was a prisoner." "You can't judge someone by their past, m'dear." "Your past is who you are." "My past is something I would rather not think about." "But your past is who you are, and someone may love who you are." "Believe me, dear. If someone loved me, they would despise my past." "I suppose..." "Is there something you want to tell me?" "...No. Sorry." "Stop apologizing! Where's that stubborn, angsty boy I know?!"
Ed glared, but didn't say a word. He transmuted a tree into a wall between himself and Sora. Sora didn't care. She walked away, looking for a better way to waste her time.

Jaqueline smirked to herself as she darted down another alley way, hearing a few muffled shouts of soldiers trying to track her down. She felt like a fox being persude by hounds, just in this case it was military hounds (lol I'm having too much fun with this military dog stuff lol) She skidded on the wet pavement around another corner, stepping onto an empty sidestreet that appeared to be residential housing. Just in case anything went badly though, she made sure her two pistols were loaded and ready to go if she got back into a corner. She didn't want to spill any blood, she just wanted to get out of the city and be able to live in peace without being reminded of her past crimes, but if something stood in her way, she would fight for her freedom. She continued her walk down the side stree, senses alert for any sign of Mustang and his cronies.

She was slightly worried about the lady she had seen earlier. Perhaps she was more worried about the lady's dog, who had followed her. The dog seemed to sleep quite a lot. Would it make it to wherever the lady's destination was?
Perhaps she would one day meet this mysterious lady, but for now, worrying wasn't going to do any good. She walked back to Al, who was now sleeping in the same spot that he sat in earlier.
