Lyra laughed and grinned, "Nice to meet you Fred," she said. 'And to think,' she thought to herself, 'that I thought I wouldn't make any friends this year.'

"Little does he know, I'm going to be a prefect," Sora whispered. "No you are not, little missy!" he said with insistence. This was the one thing that you could take seriously when he said it. Sora, however, tittered. "That's Fred for you. So, what do you think of that Harry Potter kid?" Sora pointed across the store to a boy who everyone else was gawking at.

Lyra snickered and looked to where Sora was pointing. Her gaze fell upon the young boy with untidy jet black hair and the most intriguing emerald green eyes she had ever seen. She had heard the tale of Harry Potter and the fall of Voldemort, but she had never seen the legendary lad until now. She fell silent, a bit of color flushed into her cheeks at his attractiveness before lying non-chalantly, "eh, nothing to gawk at."

Fred whispered "She fancies him" at a volume where Sora was pretty sure Lyra could hear perfectly well. She didn't respond, though, other than a slight snicker.

Lyra blushed a little more before rolling her eyes, "tsh, yea right," she said smirking a bit.

Fred nodded with obvious sarcasm and took Sora's hand, leading her in a waltz. She wasn't sure how this happened, but it did. She spun him into Lyra, and they ended up dancing together. Harry Potter came by to get a quill, and Fred spun Lyra into Harry.

Lyra went brick red and stepped back a bit. She chuckled nervously, "Uh hi, sorry about that," she said casting a look at Fred.

Fred smiled and winked. Harry went along with the dancing, and Fred and Sora left the store, waving good-bye to their new friend (or maybe enemy *titter*) Lyra.

(Aw. Poor Harry.)
Sora walked off to Knockturn Alley while Fred wasn't looking. She had always been curious about it, because Mr. and Mrs. Weasley had a darker tone when speaking of it than they did with Diagon Alley.

(lol, Lyra's just not used to dancing in wizard stores with famous boys who lived)
Lyra left Flourish and Blotts to continue her school shopping, and ended up in Ollivander's wand shop (it's a shame what happened to ollivander, i really thought he was cool)

All of Sora's required shopping was done, so she had all the right in the world to explore. She went to Knockturn Alley unnoticed, and she ran into the blonde boy again.
"Oh, sorry," he said, his pale cheeks turning slightly pink. "It's fine," said Sora honestly, blushing slightly herself.
She walked into a store called Borgin and Burkes.

Lyra emerged some monets later with her new wand, and headed twoard the creatures shop to look around (Oh no! the creature madness again!)

(Uh oh.)
While at Borgin and Burkes, Sora looks at all of the items, not wanting to buy anything. They were quite a sight to see, but Sora was afraid Mrs. Weasley's face would be quite a sight to see, as well, if she brought any of the items here to her house. As she looked at various cursed jewelry, she heard someone come into the store. It was the blonde boy again with who she assumed was his father.

Lyra looked around the shop at the various critters. Bats hung from the rafters and occasionally swooped down over an unsuspecting customers head. Rats scurried about an squeaked in their cages, owls peered down at the people in the store through amber eyes from their perches. Lyra walked over to look at the cats that were up for adoption. She had always like cats of all types, which probably came from the Gryffindor blood from her mother's side, and of course wolves as well from her father's side. She looked down at the cute kittens and picked one up, a sweet black and white girl kitty with big green eyes that reminded her of someone (lol). Soon Lyra reamerged from the shop with a basket that jittered and mewed every now and then.
